Project Act is an event which aims to positively change social attitudes towards environmentally-friendly, sustainable, ‘green’ living, with its primary focus being waste management. We are organising a launch event on October 24th, 2009 to coincide with the International Day of Climate Action which is in line with a global campaign organised by 350.org .

The objective of this campaign is to raise awareness on issues related to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP15) to be held this December, and the Project Act launch event will be geared towards showing Sri Lanka’s support towards this campaign.
